Sodium Sulfate

Sodium sulfate is the sodium salt of sulfuric acid. It exists in both anhydrous (water-free) and hydrated forms. The anhydrous form is a white crystalline solid known as thenardite, while the decahydrate form (Na₂SO₄·10H₂O) is commonly known as Glauber's salt or mirabilite.
